Anyhow...another Asia studies meetup yesterday...much fun to be had. Of course you don't want to hear about the work involved so instead I'll tell you about lunch. No one cares about academics anymore..bahah...hmm. Anyway, we tried our luck in one of Anzac Parade's endless stream of Indo restaurants. The place was called Ratu Sari. Pix and captiony goodness:
[The joint in question.] [Bored fellas]
[This is what I ordered. I've totally forgotten the name, but! I do remember it was number 17.]
[It was a spicy curry-ish dish. But it couldn't get the best of me! I had a jug of water by my side.]
[As with most foods (save seafood) I showed no mercy.]
[If it's such a MYSTERY why do they tell us the ingredients?!]
[Most of us were left enthused for the whole day]
[It was a mystical group work meeting.]
[Unstoppable progress] After we toiled in the harsh confinements of the CSE lounge Amanda and I met up with Kish and Fadhly at his place on campus. It was actually quite spacious which was coolies. Jambed a bit on his DJing gear and headed out to the city, singing at the top of our lungs, for dinner at Kura III (off Dixon Street), gotta' love that joint and ther dons...prices aren't bad too! The spring weather is kicking in which is neat I guess...I still prefer the winter chill though. Makes morning caffeine fixes more meaningful.
